Help · Getting a tow

Something went wrong

Damage, overcharges, no-shows: how to report it and what happens next.

What counts

  • Your vehicle was damaged during the tow.
  • You were charged more than quoted (or for an add-on you didn't approve).
  • The driver never showed or the job wasn't done as described.
  • Conduct — how you were treated.

How to report it

Open the tracking page or receipt within 30 days of the job and tap Report a problem. Pick what went wrong, describe it, and add photos if you have them. If you used a text-message link rather than an account, that works too.

What happens next

  1. The company gets your report and has 48 hours to respond in the app with their side.
  2. Towhub reviews the record: the status timeline with the truck's positions at each step, the crew's condition photos (required at pickup on accident and recovery jobs), your photos, the itemized charge, and both statements.
  3. We decide: full refund, partial refund, or the charge stands — and text you the outcome with the reason. Most cases close within two business days.

Refunds go to the card you paid with. They come out of the company's payout, not yours.

Damage beyond the tow price

Our review settles the payment for the job. A damage claim larger than that goes to the company's insurance — every listed company has to carry it — and we'll give you the job record (times, positions, photos) to support the claim.
