Help · Getting a tow

Tracking your tow

The live map, your driver, the ETA, and the texts you'll get.

Your tracking page

The moment a company accepts, you get a link by text (and it's on your account if you have one). It shows:

  • Status — assigned, en route, on scene, loaded, in transit, delivered, complete. Each step is stamped with the time.
  • The map — the pickup, the destination, and the truck once the driver is moving.
  • ETA — recomputed with live traffic while the driver is on the way.
  • Your driver — name, photo, the truck to look for, and a call button.
  • Payment — the amount on hold and when it's charged.

The page updates by itself; you don't need to refresh.

The texts

You'll get a text when quotes are ready, when a company accepts, when the driver is on the way, when they arrive, and when the job is done with your receipt. Reply STOP to any of them to opt out of non-essential texts — you'll still get the ones needed to complete a tow you requested. Details are in the Text Messaging Terms.

The driver can't find you

Use the call button on the tracking page — it goes straight to the driver. If you moved, tell them; the pickup address on the job is what they're navigating to.

The tracking link works for anyone you send it to — a family member, the shop expecting the car. It shows the job, not your account.
