The short version
A business account lets your staff order tows for your customers or your own vehicles and get one itemized invoice a month instead of paying job by job. You're responsible for what your staff order and for paying the invoice on time. The tow company does the work; Towhub's Terms of Service apply to every job.
This Agreement is between Towhub and the business ("Business", "you") that opens a business account. The person accepting confirms they're authorized to bind the business.
1. Account and requesters
- You designate who can order (requesters) and who can manage the account (owners/admins). Every request is attributed to the person who placed it.
- You're responsible for requests placed from your account, including the accuracy of the pickup, destination and vehicle, and for having authority to move the vehicle.
- Keep your contact and billing details current.
2. Ordering and pricing
- Requests placed on behalf of a customer show your business as the requester. The customer receives a tracking link and the tow company can contact them for the pickup.
- Prices are set by each tow company and shown before you order, including sales tax where it applies. Towhub's platform fee is paid by the tow company; business-account jobs carry a 10% platform fee to the company, which is why quoted prices may differ from marketplace prices.
- Extras proposed on scene are approved by you (or by your customer if you've asked us to route approvals to them).
3. Billing
- Invoice accounts: completed jobs accrue to a monthly statement issued through Stripe Invoicing on the first of the following month, net 30. Each line shows the date, vehicle, route, tow company and amount.
- Card accounts: each job is held and charged like a customer job, to the card on file.
- Late invoices may pause new requests until paid and accrue interest at the lesser of 1.5% per month or the maximum allowed by law. [DECISION: late-fee terms and credit limits — confirm.]
- Disputes about a job must be raised within 30 days of the statement, as described in Cancellations, Payments & Refunds. Undisputed lines remain due.
4. Data
Job records, VIN history and statements for your account are available in your Towhub account and by export. Information about your customers that you enter is yours; Towhub processes it to provide the Service. See the Privacy Policy.
5. Termination
Either party may close the account at any time. Outstanding invoices remain due; jobs in progress are completed under these terms.
6. General
The Terms of Service govern anything not covered here. Washington law applies; venue is King County, Washington.
