Pick from the list, don't just type
The pickup and destination boxes need a selected suggestion — that's how we get the map coordinates the price is built on. If you typed an address and nothing was highlighted, the form says "Pick an address from the list". Type a little more, then tap the match.
Highway shoulders and mile markers
Search for the nearest exit or cross street ("I-5 NB Exit 143", "SR 167 at 84th Ave S"), or tap Use my location — on a shoulder, GPS is usually right. Then put the specifics in the note: northbound, right shoulder, just past the overpass, silver Camry with hazards on. The driver reads the note.
Parking garages, campuses, big lots
Search the building or business name ("Northgate Station parking", "UW Medical Center"), select it, and put the level and spot in the note: P2, near the elevator, space 214.
New construction, rural roads
If the search can't find a brand-new street, pick the nearest address it does know and describe the rest in the note. If it can't find anything nearby at all, you may be outside our service area — the form will tell you plainly, and you can leave your number for when we get there.
The suggestion is right but the pin looks wrong
Selecting a suggestion moves the map pin. If the pin lands somewhere odd (a P.O. box, the wrong side of a river), try a more specific search — the street number, or the business name — or use your location.
